Our agency has important reasons for handling personal identifying information.  These reasons fall under the following general headings:

1. As required by law, we keep employment records, including payroll records and tax forms.
2. We provide employment screening services that may require the use of personal information to complete the screening assignment.
3. We provide tenant screening services that may require the use of personal information to complete the screening assignment
4. We provide investigative services that may require the use of personal information to complete the investigative assignment
5. We accept credit cards as a method of payment.  If the card is physically present at the time of the transaction then no credit card account information is maintained after the transaction.  If the credit card is not present at the time of the transaction then we obtain the necessary information to process the transaction.  The personal information collected is then destroyed by shredding or similar permanent method.

Employment screening/tenant screening and personally identifiable information

Introspect Investigations USA, Inc. conducts employment screening and tenant screening searches on behalf of employers and landlords pursuant to written Authorization and Disclosure under the FCRA and only disseminates consumer reports to employers and landlords as directed in the written authorization.
